Erillisverkot Hosts Virve Days 26 in Tampere with 500 Attendees and Focus on Virve 2 Migration
Annual event brings together key stakeholders as Finland's critical communications network transition gathers momentum
Tampere, Finland — Suomen Erillisverkot organised Virve Days 26 at the Tampere Hall auditorium, drawing approximately 500 guests including key customers, partners, and stakeholders from across Finland's critical communications community. The event featured around 30 exhibitors and served as a focal point for discussions around the ongoing migration to Virve 2, Finland's next-generation mission-critical broadband network.
The programme included presentations, panel discussions, and product launches across both the conference auditorium and exhibition floor. The Finnish Ministry of Finance (Valtiovarainministeriö) contributed to the programme alongside a range of industry partners.
Opening remarks were delivered by Erillisverkot CEO Timo Lehtimäki, with Technical Director Harri Hilden presenting on network developments and Chairman of the Board Ilpo Nuutinen addressing attendees ahead of the dinner.
During the entire event, there was a lot of discussion around u the Virve 2 migration, which is important for Finnish public safety and critical communications infrastructure organizations.
Elisa, Ericsson, Airbus Public Safety and Security, and Senop Oy were the main partners in the event.
