Teltronic Deploys Rapid-Deployment Private 5G Network at Spanish Armed Forces’ Atlas26 Exercise
Critical communications specialist demonstrates flexible broadband connectivity for data and video in a demanding operational environment.
Teltronic announced that the company is taking part in Atlas26, a joint exercise of the Spanish Armed Forces, where it is bringing its 5G technology into a real operational environment. Atlas26 brings together military units, companies, universities and research centres to test technologies and capabilities in demanding operational scenarios.
As part of its participation, Teltronic has installed a fast-deployment private 5G network to provide broadband connectivity for data and video transmission. The deployment is intended to demonstrate how this type of infrastructure can be established quickly and flexibly in the field.
According to the company, the network delivers the robustness, high transmission capacity and low latency required in demanding scenarios. The exercise provides an opportunity to assess private 5G performance under realistic operational conditions, an area of growing interest for defence and public safety organisations seeking resilient, high-bandwidth communications.
