Bouygues Telecom, has been formally selected by the ACMOSS as the key partner for the development and deployment of Rapid Response Solutions (SRR) within the Réseau Radio du Futur (RRF).

Bouygues Telecom and ACMOSS have entered a strategic partnership to deliver Rapid Response Solutions (SRR) for the Réseau Radio du Futur (RRF), reinforcing critical communication capabilities for France’s security, emergency, and healthcare services. This collaboration ensures resilient, high-priority 4G/5G access and rapid-deployable infrastructure during crises nationwide.

Bouygues Telecom, a leading telecommunications operator in France, has been formally selected by the Agence des communications mobiles opérationnelles de sécurité et de secours (ACMOSS) as the key partner for the development and deployment of Rapid Response Solutions (SRR) within the Réseau Radio du Futur (RRF).

This decision follows the recent operational activation of prioritised access to Bouygues Telecom’s 4G/5G network, marking a significant advancement in the modernisation of critical communication systems. The SRR initiative aims to provide swift, secure and resilient communication capabilities to all national services responsible for security, civil protection, emergency medical assistance, crisis coordination, and disaster response.

Having first been appointed by the Ministry of the Interior in September 2022 to contribute to the RRF programme, Bouygues Telecom now further consolidates its role by delivering high-level communication infrastructure designed to operate under the most demanding conditions. Through this partnership, Bouygues Telecom will provide deployable, autonomous mobile units capable of establishing 4G network coverage within six hours anywhere in mainland France, including via satellite backbone connectivity when required.

To mitigate network saturation or potential outages during critical incidents, Bouygues Telecom will also implement Deployable Base Stations (SBD), ensuring temporary but reliable coverage across several kilometres. These systems will guarantee continuous operational communications for frontline responders during major national events or unforeseen crises.

This collaboration underscores Bouygues Telecom’s dedication to technological innovation, public safety, and the resilience of national infrastructure. By ensuring secure and uninterrupted communication for French security, rescue, and healthcare forces, Bouygues Telecom reaffirms its long-term commitment to the success and continuity of the Réseau Radio du Futur.

Guillaume Lambert, Director of ACMOSS, stated:

“By selecting Bouygues Telecom’s proposal for the Rapid Response Solutions market, ACMOSS renews its trust in the Tier 1 operator of the Réseau Radio du Futur. This initiative will further enhance resilience, providing deployable solutions for both foreseeable and unforeseen events across all security and emergency services.”

François Treuil, Director of the Enterprise Division at Bouygues Telecom, added:

“With the strength of our mobile network and the expertise of our teams, Bouygues Telecom is proud to be recognised as a trusted partner of the French State in critical communications. We are honoured to contribute to an ultra-resilient network enabling security, emergency, and healthcare personnel to operate with maximum reliability.”
