As part of this initiative, ANFSI has been deploying the PEGASE 2 system, a state-of-the-art platform designed to manage emergency calls to the 17 Police Secours line.

The Agence du numérique des forces de sécurité intérieure (ANFSI) has announced significant progress in the modernization of command rooms for both the National Police and the Gendarmerie, underlining a broader strategy of technical convergence to ensure seamless interoperability between the two institutions.

As part of this initiative, ANFSI has been deploying the PEGASE 2 system (PRECOM'S CRITI-CALL), a state-of-the-art platform designed to manage emergency calls to the 17 Police Secours line. Since the start of the program in 2022, 67 centers have been equipped with the solution. The most recent deployments, completed in 2025, extended coverage to Martinique and Guadeloupe, further enhancing local emergency response capabilities. With these installations, the program is nearing full coverage, with only French Guiana, Mayotte, and French Polynesia awaiting deployment.

Currently, all Information and Command Centres (CIC) of the Direction de la sécurité de proximité de l’agglomération parisienne (DSPAP), along with 63 prioritized Departmental Directorates of the National Police (DDPN), are fully operational with PEGASE 2. This deployment ensures rapid, reliable, and efficient handling of emergency calls nationwide. In addition, motorway units of the Central Directorate of Republican Security Companies and several Border Police services, including the key site at Roissy, have also joined the network, reinforcing the overall resilience of the national security infrastructure.

Beyond emergency call management, ANFSI has strengthened real-time operational coordination through the installation of 52 video walls across multiple command centers. These advanced visual systems provide enhanced situational awareness, a critical capability for managing major incidents. Notably, recent installations in departments 01, 14, 35, and 92 were completed ahead of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, providing critical support during one of France’s largest security operations in recent years.

Through these modernization efforts, the French internal security forces continue to strengthen their ability to protect the public while ensuring interoperability and technological consistency across the National Police and Gendarmerie.

On social media, PRESCOM, announced that the company is proud to support ANFSI and all the internal security forces in the reliability and security of their communications.

PRESCOM stated:

The CRITI-CALL solution guarantees uninterrupted communication, even in critical situations, regardless of the network used. A big thank you to ANFSI for its trust, and congratulations to all the teams involved in this project.
