Abiom Secures NATO 2025 Top with Reliable TETRA/Mesh Communications
The power of standalone networks has once again proven itself as a valuable and reliable addition to ther C2000 nationwide TETRA network.
Dutch Critical Communications specialist Abiom announced that the company was successful in delivering a stand alone critical communications solution for the NATO top, that was held last week in The Hague, capital of The Netherlands.
After months of intensive preparation, last Friday the entire communication system was dismantled as if nothing had happened. After the NSS in 2014, the company was again selected to contribute to an even larger security operation: NATO 2025.
To ensure reliable and uninterrupted communications to specialists organisations and teams from the higher violence spectrum the company provided a mission-critical a redundant multi-site network TETRA network (7 sites) spread across the risk area. In addition, mesh technology was used for streaming video.
The entire operation went smoothly. The power of standalone networks has once again proven itself as a valuable and reliable addition to the C2000 nationwide TETRA network.
Abiom also provided around fifty IDECS workstations in the control room to manage the entire operation.
