Finnish technology company Oy Stop Noise Finland Ltd and Suomen Erillisverkot Oy, one of Europe’s leading mission-critical communications operators, today announced a significant pre-order for the new HYBRID X operating device. The announcement was made at Critical Communications World 2025, held at Brussels Expo, where initial production deliveries were confirmed to begin in Q4/2025.

The HYBRID X operating device is designed for demanding operational environments where usability and fast, reliable communication are essential – even when touchscreens are inaccessible due to gloves or low visibility. The HYBRID X operating device provides an open API for software developers, enabling applications to utilize its buttons for functions such as push-to-talk, talk group selection, video activation, or emergency triggers. The Hybrid X operating device connects via USB-C and is compatible with Android-based smartphones.
