The chosen technology will comprise Bluetooth earpieces for discrete communications and MOTOTRBO capacity plus software for multi-site connection, infrastructure, digital dual radios, and hybrid LTE.

Following a competitive bidding process, Radiocoms Systems Ltd (Radiocoms) was awarded a three-year contract with the Bank of England (BoE). Radiocoms will design, supply, and implement hybrid radio systems at their Threadneedle Street, Moorgate, and Debden locations in accordance with the terms of the contract. The obsolete two-way radio systems manufactured by Motorola Solutions will be substituted with the new communication systems.

The chosen technology will comprise Bluetooth earpieces for discrete communications and MOTOTRBO capacity plus software for multi-site connection, infrastructure, digital dual radios, and hybrid LTE. Each device will be equipped with high-level encryption capabilities.

Furthermore, the system shall be equipped with the capability to seamlessly integrate with body-worn cameras and CCTV, thereby furnishing the BoE with augmented security measures. In order to assist the BoE, Radiocoms will deliver an all-encompassing managed service backed by a service level agreement.

According to Mark Blythe, the Managing Director, "Radiocoms is ecstatic to have received the BOE's approval to provide, install, and maintain the replacement radio system." This endorsement serves to strengthen the standing of Radiocoms as the preeminent provider of communications apparatus in the United Kingdom.

Terry Staff, Account Manager, stated, "Radiocoms is dedicated to providing the BoE with a resilient solution that will fulfill its particular needs and demands in order to sustain its critical operations in the present and future." We anticipate collaborating closely with them in order to guarantee a seamless transition.
