Hytera Communications returns as the communication sponsor of Indonesia's largest international golf tournament, the BNI Indonesian Masters 2023 presented by TNE, held at Royale Jakarta Golf Club from 16 to 19 November.

As a five-time sponsor, Hytera provided 100 PNC360S Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) radios for this year’s tournament. The sponsorship has facilitated seamless communication among the tournament staff, enabling efficient coordination throughout the event.

The BNI Indonesian Masters 2023 is a prestigious Asian Tour golf competition that features both elite Asian and world-renowned golfers. The tournament was held again at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club, an internationally recognized golf venue with a total of 27 holes. The event's return to Indonesia shows the Asian Tour's confidence in the Indonesian Masters to host its flagship tournament, and the strong support from many organizations, including Hytera.

Sharing the team’s experience with the new communication device, Merry Kwan from OB Golf, the executive arm of the tournament, stated:

"The tournament is an intense time for all of our team members, and having seamless communication is paramount. With the PNC360S, we were proud to have delivered a flawless event experience for both the audiences and players.”

The PNC360S is a compact addition to the Hytera PoC portfolio, specifically designed for wide-area communication. Weighing at just 190g and with an impressive 4,000 mAh battery, the PNC360S can actively support the entire team for a full 24 hours. Charging is a breeze with the convenient Type-C cable, allowing quick replenishment.

In addition, with its compatibility across 2G, 3G, 4G, and WLAN networks, this cutting-edge device ensures seamless connectivity nationwide or globally. Boasting an external antenna that increases reception sensitivity by 2dB, it guarantees stable and reliable communication throughout the golfing event.

From scoring teams across the greens to the operations team, or simply the participant pick-up team from the airport – Hytera’s communication equipment ensures a total solution for the event coordination.

Mars Li, Sales Director of Hytera ASEAN, commented:

“We are proud to support the BNI Indonesian Masters 2023 and contribute to the success of this prestigious golf tournament. Our commitment to providing innovative communication solutions remains unwavering, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the Asian Tour and future sporting events.”
