Amphenol Procom Introduces Mountable LTE450 Filter to Reduce Interference from DVB-T

Curated by: Gert Jan Wolf - Editor-in Chief for The Critical Communications Review

Amphenol Procom is pleased to share their latest development designed for the LTE450 band (bands 31 and 72). This product represents the companies' commitment to solving real-world RF challenges, specifically targeting the issue of interference from high power DVB-T transmissions close to LTE450 communication.

Interference originating from DVB-T transmitters can often lead to saturation of LTE450 receivers disrupting communication reception and reducing radio coverage.

The new mast mountable bandpass filter, PRO-BPF 451-466 is designed to suppress high power signals, effectively mitigating interference, and elevating the performance of LTE450 communications.

Key Features:

  • Covers LTE450 band 31 and 72 (451-466 MHz).
  • The filter effectively provides 40 dB rejection towards DVB-T bands below 430 MHz and above 470 MHz.
  • The unit is IP67 rated and includes a Gore valve to equalize pressure in the sealed enclosures thus providing prolonged durability.
  • The filter is PIM rated to -150 dBc and is with 4.3-10(f) connectors.
  • Mast mountable – brackets and metal strips included for mounting.
