Public Safety Communication Europe (PSCE) announced that it will participate at SRE2023 and will take part in the exhibition session. PSCE will present BroadWay PCP and its follow-up BroadEUnet for EU critical communications.

The Security Research Event 2023 (SRE2023), is an annual meeting where industry, policy makers and knowledge institutions come together to discuss the state of play and current challenges for security research in Europe. SRE2023 is organised by the European Commission, DG HOME, Innovation and Security Research Unit, with a support from Sweden and Spain. Security authorities are facing a changing world, bringing both opportunities and challenges, which requires rethinking the capabilities needed to perform their missions.

Date: 24-25 October 2023
Location: SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre
Address: Mont des Arts/Kunstberg, B-1000 Brussels

The cascading impact of megatrends demands a renewed debate on the role to be played, and contribution to be delivered, by EU security research.

During SRE2023, more than 40 projects funded by the EU, Spain, and Sweden will be displayed in an exhibition area. There will be a possibility to discover products and services stemming from funding schemes such as the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe, Border Management and Visa Instrument (BMVI), the Internal Security Fund (ISF) and National Research Programmes.
