BK Technologies Corporation (NYSE American: BKTI) today announced new features for InteropONE, the only PTToC (“Push To Talk Over Cellular”) service that enables operational interoperability to first responders and individuals across the entire crisis management process through on-demand creation of user groups in five minutes or less.

The new capabilities provide an enhanced interface for both the group owner and users, allowing for the handover of group ownership based on work shifts or command changes, and the ability to utilize private or group messages to share a location or any point on a map to facilitate situational awareness and team coordination, file attachments such as a person of interest photo, incident video, or a building floor plan, and web page links. The service also now utilizes iOS and Android notifications to provide InteropONE group members with real time activity alerts straight to their devices.

John Suzuki, CEO of BK Technologies, commented, “We’re pleased to be implementing these new features into our InteropONE platform, which we believe will meaningfully enhance the service for public safety responders in mission critical situations. Driven by valuable user feedback and successful field trials, these new features allow incident managers and users to communicate more efficiently and better execute on their mission in settings where every second counts. These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to the development of the InteropONE platform and our identity as a trailblazer for the broader integration of SaaS-based services into the portable communications market.”
