The CCR Summit is largest gathering of professionals from the field of Public Safety in the Netherlands. Over 400 delegates from various countries attended the two-day conference. Chaired by Dutch former Minister of the Interior and Member of Parliament Prof. Dr. Ernst Hirsch Ballin, a large number of thought provoking and real –life cases were presented by Dutch and international speakers. The VIP Dinner offered Tensing an opportunity to meet with decision makers and share our geo-platform vision with them. Besides the formal program, ample time was available to meet with old and new acquaintances, do some business and generally have a good time. The spiritual venue, the ancient Rolduc Abbey, will have added to this.

Tensing and Esri were Premium Sponsor Partners to the event, enabling them to present and demo their latest version of the CCR360 Emergency Room GIS solution and its foundation, Esri’s ArcGIS suite. There were many interesting encounters and The company enjoyed informing customers, prospects and comers-by about their abilities.

Attention for geospatial information was widespread. In many of the presentations GIS was mentioned as a “must have technology”. On top of that, many speakers and other delegates acknowledged the necessity of sharing information using open standards. The Tensing CCR360 Emergency Room GIS and Esri’s ArcGIS suite are designed to do exactly that: share knowledge, technology and information and work together towards a safer society.
