In a blog in their website, Simoco looks back on the successfull DMR III and P25 interoperability tests.

As strong advocates of a truly open multi-vendor market for critical communications, the company recently announced that it has passed two interoperability tests in DMR (Digital Mobile Radio)SDP660 portable and P25.

Simoco successfully completed the DMR Interoperability test session for the DMR Tier III trunking terminals with the ECOS-D RGW4000 base station from Finmeccanica – Selex ES, and also tested Zetron’s MAX Dispatch system using the P25 Digital Fixed Station Interface (DFSI) with Simoco’s P25 conventional radio network. Both reinforce Simoco's commitment to interoperability and compliance with open standards.

According to Simoco, Interoperability is becoming more and more relevant across all industries including public safety and security, utilities, natural resources, transport, and government and public infrastructure.
