MiMoMax supports economical high performance DMR site linking with the 'Tornado family'.

Source: MCCResources

MiMOMax Tornado allows an economically and quickly implementation of a low latency, high performance linked DMR radio solution.

Using the MiMOMax Tornado family of spectrally efficient IP based radios with Power Over Ethernet (PoE) implementation, it is possible to very economically and quickly implement a low latency, high performance linked DMR radio solution. The PoE implementation significantly reduces the considerable installation time and costs that are usually associated with Tower, Site RF and Power Cabling.

Utilising the highly integrated MiMOMax Tornado Radio with built-in Micro Pass Band Duplexers combined with the PoE Outdoor Mounting Tornado capability, most of the cabling costs for the RF and Power can be eliminated, making a much tidier, lower cost and more reliable installation.

This mounting method not only eliminates many of the traditional installation costs associated with RF and power cables, but also improves system performance by minimising cable RF losses. By housing all of the radio and network electronics in one outdoor weather proof enclosure, the only connection required for an Ethernet Tornado DMR linking solution is one 50VDC PoE Ethernet cable.

The MiMOMax DMR linking solution utilises high orders of modulation, advanced DMR traffic management schemes and narrowband MiMO technologies to provide low latency, ultra-high spectral efficiency linking of up to 13+1 Trunked channels of DMR (or other Digital PMR) while still having significant uncommitted Ethernet bandwidth available ( depending on options ) for other applications.
