In a blog on the Simoco website, the company reinforces the message that they have built a strong track record in delivering reliable and cost effective radio systems, working in a wide range of sectors across the globe and that they are now seeing a significant growth in their business in the Middle East

The company will even make some exciting announcements this year.

Simoco: "Research from Cisco also confirms our findings that this emerging market presents major opportunities: global mobile data traffic in the Middle East grew by 107% in 2013, and is forecast to grow faster than any other region in the world during the next five years."

"A more connected, tech-savvy region can only mean an increased requirement for reliable, private mobile radio to deliver critical communications. We have found that the airline industry is largely contributing to the market’s growth. In fact, the Middle East is predicted to lead global aviation growth, after it reported the strongest international passenger growth and a rise in freight traffic."

Most recently, Simoco secured a five-year contract with thier partner UCA (United Commercial Agencies) to deliver an advanced Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) solution to Bahrain International Airport. The technology will help the airlines and ground handling company improve their operations and efficiency in the airport – and consequently improve the passenger experience.
