FCS Launches Interface for Motorola Solutions’ MOTOTRBO Digital Two-way Radios for Improving Hotel Operations Efficiency

This agreement will help to better position FCS as a global vendor of technology solutions, not only to the hospitality market, but also other Enterprise vertical markets, including healthcare, logistics and retail. With a stronghold in the Asia Pacific region, FCS’ solutions are currently used by more than 5,000 hotels around the globe, with over 8,000 installations in 32 countries, covering APAC, EMEA and the Americas. The Motorola Solutions Application Developer Program (ADP) opens doors for companies like FCS to innovate new experiences for the two-way radio market. The ADP focuses on Motorola Solutions MOTOTRBO™ Professional Digital Two-way Radio solutions, a mobile solution that combines the best of two-way radios with digital technology to deliver increased capacity and spectral efficiency, integrated data applications and enhanced voice communications.

Currently, FCS has gained certification from Motorola Solutions on an interface between MOTOTRBO™ and FCS e-Connect. The integration greatly improves hotel operations efficiency by allowing duty managers and runners to dispatch and manage their jobs via MOTOTRBO™ devices, complete with job view summary and details, escalated job details, work order acknowledgment, completion updates, ad hoc messaging and instant Push2Talk inquired capabilities. In addition to MOTOTRBO™, FCS e-Connect also has certified interfaces with Motorola Solutions Total Enterprise Access and Mobility (TEAM) and Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) solutions.

As an ADP member, FCS is already working on future connectivity developments to bring additional applications to Motorola Solutions customers in the hospitality, healthcare, logistics and retail industries. Near term integrations will include FCS’ m-Connect, m-Housekeeping and m-Services mobile apps with Motorola Solutions advanced  professional MOTOTRBO™ digital two-way radios, mobile computers - MC 40, SB1 Smart Badge and ET1 Enterprise Tablet.
