CONET Presents Mobile Control Room Technology at European Police Congress

Source: MCCResources

On 24th and 25th February CONET showcases its new Mobile Command Flightcase for heightened situational awareness and radio integration.

The roll-out of the German BOS digital radio network for emergency and rescue services (Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben - BOS) is advancing continuously. Nevertheless, emergency response forces are still faced with multiple communicative challenges in their daily operations: They need direct access to all available information on the current situation to achieve higher situational awareness and have to be able to communicate in groups via TETRA digital radio, public and private mobile radio and data networks at the same time.

At the European Police Congress on February 24th and 25th at the Berlin Congress Center, CONET presents its answer to these challenges at the booth of partner Sopra Steria Consulting: The new CONET Mobile Command Flightcase offers a mobile communication platform which uses modern communication standards and the integration functionality of CONET UC Radio Suite to achieve direct group communications across most diverse radio standards while also providing detailed GIS information on all end user devices included in the integrated communication network.

Another integral part of CONET’s presentations at the Police Congress will be the CONET Unified API, the technical heart of CONET UC Radio Suite. This application interface is fully based on standard protocols and enables a full integration of almost any available communication systems and application platforms. The CONET Unified API therefore facilitates the connection and extension of proprietary control room communication solutions and applications with architectures and standards of third party manufacturers, e.g. different TETRA providers.
