Cition opts for Entropia TETRA network

The previous contract expired on 31 December 2014 and their old radios desperately needed to be replaced. So there was a dire need for short-term replacement. The focus was on the need for an all-in-one solution in which the walkie-talkie subscription could be offered including the devices, and connected to Entropia's network for national coverage. This will relieve Cition of making investments in an own infrastructure and its maintenance.

For the parking policy of Amsterdam, Cition is renewing its contract with Entropia. This is needed for the radio communications amongst its employees out in the field. Cition was searching for a total solution for the forthcoming years which includes a network and radios. They think it's vitally important to have only one point of contact so that a fitting and quick response and recovery time is guaranteed.

Flexible solution

In this way Entropia offers a solution which best meets Cition's need for flexibility. As part of the concession, Cition is responsible for the implementation of the fiscal parking control enforcement in Amsterdam. The scalability of the solution, in which a number of connections can be expanded or reduced dependent on the organisation structure, is of paramount importance. By cooperating with Entropia Cition doesn't need to invest in its own systems, nor for the maintenance and expansion of it. The Entropia network is implemented fully redundant to guarantee the continuity of the services.
