The interview was recorded during SmartRail USA where Powertrunk was exhibiting its TETRA communications solutions as Lead Sponsor of the event.
In the video that was released on the 28th January 2015, CEO Jose Martin talks about the broad portfolio of Powertrunk of critical communication solutions for the transportation, public safety, utilities, and industrial sectors.
Just to summarize, up until now the Powertrunk has proven to be succesful in North America by selling TETRA systems to:
- NJT
- Academy Bus
- BC Hydro - the power authority of British Columbia
- Ontario Power Generation - for its nuclear plants
- Rockwell-Collins/ARINC - for LAX airport
- Agnico Eagle - for its Medowbank Gold Mine in Nunavut
- GE Transportation - for the North Atlantic Railway in Colombia
The latter is the first ever Incremental Train Control System (ITCS) over TETRA implementation, an accomplishment that makes a PTC-compliant technology capable of operating efficiently through TETRA’s narrowband-compliant, optimized data services.
