Partners will offer new MCX solution for secure communications over 5G to various industries.

Proximus, Belgium's leading provider of telecommunications and digital services, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Airbus, the world leader in aerospace. Together, they will launch "Agnet MCx", a solution for business critical communications and collaboration, on the Belgian market. This partnership marks a significant breakthrough in leveraging the specific characteristics of 5G to improve secure communications for enterprises, particularly in the industrial, transportation and logistics sectors.

Agnet MCx is a solution that securely and reliably delivers advanced features such as push-to-talk, secure instant messaging, live video sharing and location-based services. It enables users of two-way radios, smartphones, tablets and laptops to communicate individually or in groups. These tools provide a better assessment of the situation in the field in real time, enabling fast and effective decision-making. The partnership between Proximus NXT and Airbus ensures that business-critical information is communicated quickly and reliably, increasing the collaboration and efficiency of teams in the field. In recent months, Proximus has successfully tested this new generation solution with various customers.

This collaboration makes Airbus' Agnet MCx solution accessible over Proximus' 4G and 5G networks, including slicing when commercially available, the ability to "slice" the public 5G network and reserve guaranteed bandwidth for specific applications. Proximus' 5G capabilities, such as the setting up of private mobile networks and slicing, high bandwidth and low latency, will greatly enhance the functionality of Agnet MCx and provide an unprecedented solution on the Belgian market.

With this partnership, Proximus once again demonstrates its leadership in the deployment of 5G, provides a solid infrastructure for future innovation and strengthens its position as a preferred provider of advanced communications solutions.
