BK Technologies Corporation yesterday announced that it has received two purchase orders from the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service ("USFS") for a total 5,620 BKR 5000 radios.

BK Technologies Corporation (NYSE American:BKTI) (the "Company" or "BK Technologies") yesterday announced that it has received two purchase orders from the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service ("USFS") for a total 5,620 BKR 5000 P25 radios.

These orders are a part of BK Technologies' five-year blanket purchase agreement ("BPA") with the United States Department of Agriculture announced in May 2021. To date, the USFS has purchased over 22,000 BKR 5000 radios since the beginning of the migration from BK Technologies' KNG Portable Series radio in June of 2021.

John Suzuki, CEO of BK Technologies, commented,

We are pleased to support the USDA Forest Service as they continue to implement lifecycle replacements of their portable critical  communications technology. The USFS is a valued and longstanding customer, and their selection of the BKR 5000 radio is a validation of its reliability and performance supporting a wide variety of forestry operations. In addition to the USFS, state agencies throughout the U.S. including the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Washington Department of Natural Resources have implemented lifecycle replacement programs to upgrade to BKR Series radios. Federal agencies such as The Bureau of Land Management and the National Park Service have also undertaken similar replacement programs. We appreciate the opportunity to work with the USFS and look forward to expanding our relationship with the agency as they continue to enhance their communications platform.

The United States Forest Service is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture that administers the nation's 154 national forests and 20 national grasslands. The Forest Service manages 193 million acres of land.
