Finland’s Transport and Communications Agency, Traficom, has granted the country’s first-ever radio licence for a local mobile network.

Such licences are intended for limited local operations, such as those found in factories, ports, airports, power plants and mines.

This licence, granted to Fortum’s Loviisa nuclear power plant, is for the frequency band 2300–2320 MHz.
