NSW Fire and Rescue Picks TPL Systèmes Birdy 4G Pager

The new pagers for the New south Wales Fire and Rescue services will replace their existing numeric pagers.

After an excellent meeting with the New South Wales Fire and Rescue and TPL partner Gencom Wireless Solutionsin, TPL Systèmes announced that its Birdy4G pager, a POCSAG and 4G LTE pager, designed and manufactured by TPL Systèmes for the emergency Services market, was selected to suport the Fire and Rescue service.

The new pagers for the New south Wales Fire and Rescue services will replace their existing numeric pagers.

The Birdy 4G-Lte is a new pager developed by TPL working on standard POCSAG paging networks and also on 4G networks for alerting and sending response information (acknowledgment, availability, status, GPS locations, SOS, etc..)  Its robust design enables resistance against water splashes, dust, and unavoidable bumps during field operations. Furthermore, its mechanical and electronic design guarantees reliable use, whatever the conditions thus the pager is the right choise for Fire Services.
