Motorola Solutions Implements Redundant X-Core Switch Technology on Entropia TETRA Network in The Netherlands

Motorola Solutions is deploying the new geographic redundant X-Core switch technology on the nationwide Entropia TETRA network in the Netherlands.

The private TETRA network provides secure mobile mission-critical communications service to a wide range of end-users and has now grown into the largest Motorola TETRA network within the BeNeLux countries.

The new digital radio technology will provide all Entropia customers such as Special Investigation Officers (BOA), security sector, airports, the petrochemical and logistics sector, monitoring sewage pumping stations, weir monitoring, controlling tram lines, measuring underground water levels, etc. with a unique state-of-the-art modern switching technology.

The new dual TETRA X-Core network will also provide interconnectivity between TETRA and broadband such as 4G and 5G. In addition to the national TETRA network, broadband connectivity with an independent Entropia SIM is now also being connected to connect the integration between narrowband and broadband.
