IHM Signs Radio Communication Service Contract With Falck

IHM, developer or critical communication systems in Denmark, has signed a million contract with Falck Danmark A/S covering service of Falck's radio network, pocsags as well as technical support.

'It is a very good deal for both Falck and IHM, says CEO at IHM P/S, Hardy Mortensen, and he continues: 'For many years, Falck has been using the IHM Emergency Control room system and has been supported by IHM on this. Hence, we know Falck's public fire services in Denmark very well and can react very fast and efficient as well as act as a proactive partner for Falck's employees.

One point of contact provides safety

’Embedded in the general focal on the core business lies a desire for simplicity of the support services for our fire business. With IHM as service provider for our emergency control room and now our radio network as well, the responsibility for our systems is placed at IHM only,’ says Lotte Lodberg, Head of Operations at Falck's Public Fire Services DK.

Lotte Lodberg continues: ’Derived from this agreement is an increase in safety for Falck and the daily work for our employees. Everyone confides in IHM solves the problems with the same understanding of mission critical business - and last, but not least, the employees have only one point of contact.’

Service department in East and West Denmark

Jakob B. Nielsen, Service Manager at IHM adds: ’Our service team has an in-dept knowledge of all the systems at Falck including the radio network, also because IHM has delivered the hardware for the radio network too. Furthermore, we have a service set up with employees both in Jutland and Zealand, which enables us to provide the best service regardless of geographical location.’

The Agreement enters into force 1 January 2021.
