Amper awarded communications network and systems maintenance contract for Basque Government's Department of Security
company will help to ensure the operational continuity of infrastructure essential to public safety and emergency services in the Basque Country, contributing its expertise in the operation and maintenance of these systems.
Amper has been awarded the contract for the "Maintenance of Communications Networks and Systems of the Department of Security of the Basque Government", tendered by the Basque Government's Department of Security, with a total value of approximately EUR 1.7 million.
The contract covers the comprehensive maintenance of a heterogeneous and highly complex technology infrastructure, comprising a range of communications systems based on different technologies: TETRA, LTE, radio and fibre-optic transport networks, network core, video solutions and advanced security systems. The availability and operational continuity of these systems are essential to the functioning of public safety and emergency services in the Basque Country.
Amper's key differentiator is its experience in delivering critical services of this kind, together with its knowledge of the network architecture and associated technologies. This reduces the risks associated with the service transition and enables a rapid and efficient response to any incidents that may arise.
The maintenance model provides 24/7, 365-day coverage, in line with the criticality of the systems and the response and intervention times set out in the tender specifications. This approach is designed to maintain high levels of availability, operational continuity and service quality.
The award strengthens Amper's position in the critical communications sector and its collaboration with public administrations in the operation and maintenance of public safety infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security and technological evolution of services essential to society.
