Entropia, operator of a commercial TETRA network in Belgium and The Netherlands, now also offers mission-critical communication in the petrochemical landscape.

Petrochemical plants convert natural resources such as crude oil, natural gas, ores and minerals into products for a wide range of applications. They produce many important building blocks for industrial processes, including ethylene, propylene, butadiene, and aromatics. According to Entropia, this sector needs reliable TETRA communication to guarantee these so important and critical processes.

Entropia recently announced that five petrochemical companies made the decision to subscribe to the critical communication services delivered by Entropia. Previously, these companies used their own private network infrastructure.

With this deal, Entropia now offers mission-critical communication services in the local petrochemical sector with nearly 900 new additional radios.

Entropia also offers the 'Cloud ComBus Control Room', solution. With this control room application, the customer receives a unique solution, independent of public networks such as 4G.
