DMR Communications for Polish Hostpital

The new system should provide proper radio communication between emergency medical teams functioning in the district Elbląg and the control room of the Provincial Ambulance Service in Olsztyn

Radiotech reports that the regional Hospital in Elblag intends to equip their emergency medical services with a new DMR digital radio system. This system is one of the subjects announced yesterday the order to "supply radio communication system, server, hardware ", funded by the European Union under the ENPI CBC Programme Lithuania-Poland-Russia 2007-2013.

The new system should provide proper radio communication between emergency medical teams functioning in the district Elbląg and the control room of the Provincial Ambulance Service in Olsztyn, which currently operates on a communications system from Aksel. The new system must be alble to work with digital converters currently used by the Elblag Ambulance and Motorola MOTOTRBO radios (DM3600, DP3600 and DM4600). It must  also have a connection to the Regional Emergency Medical Service Dispatcher in Olsztyn's.
