Ian Carr, CEO of Simoco said:" Comms Connect brings together the best of the international radio communications industry, offering a platform for discussion and debate on the developments that affect us and our customers.

Global mobile radio specialist Simoco will present its DMR Tier III Trunked radio and P25 at this year’s Comms Connect in Melbourne, alongside unified communications solutions from TTG sister company affini. In addition to this, Simoco’s chief technologist Andy Grimmett will make two key note presentations on M2M communications and the benefits of Trunking over the course of the event.

Simoco will demonstrate Simoco Xd Trunked radio which is a complete end-to-end, standards-compliant DMR system, with both DMR Tier II (conventional) and Tier III (trunking) functionality. The system offers scalability, resilience and simplicity through its switchless IP distributed architecture, which removes the need for costly core network equipment and eases installation and maintenance.

Simoco will also present its latest range of AMBE +2 vocoder enhanced P25 portables and mobiles, which are recognised by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Compliance Assessment Program (CAP), as meeting interoperability standards with other P25 vendors. These terminals will be running on Simoco’s SB2025NT Simulcast infrastructure; a fast, spectrum efficient solution that is perfectly suited for wide area coverage.
Unified communications will be a further focus on the stand with the presence of affini Real-Time Connect (aRTC), a unified critical communications solution from TTG sister company affini. aRTC provides the capability to enable the delivery of real-time communications to any device including radio and mobile devices, utilising real-time information feeds from business systems and applications, into seamless application & data environments over communications infrastructure.

Ian Carr, CEO of Simoco said:" Comms Connect brings together the best of the international radio communications industry, offering a platform for discussion and debate on the developments that affect us and our customers. It provides us with an opportunity to demonstrate our knowledge and expertise in supplying and deploying large-scale communications networks across the globe.”
