BDBOS was represented with an interactive and multimedia exhibition stand. More than 700 visitors were interested to gein more information about the digital BOS network.

From November 24th to 26th, 2020, BDBOS presented itself as an exhibitor at digitalPMRExpo 2020, the leading European trade fair for secure communication. BDBOS President Andreas Gegenfurtner opened the second day of the trade fair with a speech. Because of the corona pandemic, the event took place for the first time as a digital event - also a premiere for BDBOS.

BDBOS was represented with an interactive and multimedia exhibition stand. More than 700 visitors were interested to gein more information about the digital BOS network. Many of them even visited the booth during all three days of the fair. The booth was visited virtually more than 2,500 times.

At the BDBOS stand, visitors also had access to a separate video conference room, in which, on all days of the fair, live lectures by experts on various issues related to 'broadband communications' and 'the BOS digital network and radios' were presented.

BDBOS President Andreas Gegenfurtner opened the second day of the fair in the so called Speakers ‘Corner with a virtual greeting. In his lecture entitled "Pandemic as a catalyst", he explained how the corona pandemic is driving digital cooperation in government and public administration and how the BDBOS creates the prerequisites for this with the operation of area-wide, highly available and secure communication networks.

"The public administration is the service provider for all citizens of our state," said the BDBOS President. It is therefore particularly important to him "that this communication, as our lifeline in the technical components, is designed in such a way that we can ensure it for all citizens in Germany."
