Airbus sets the scene for technological evolution with its brand new hybrid base station at stand C01, Hall 10.2.

Airbus will be present at the PMRExpo between the 26th and the 28th of November in Cologne, Germany. The company will be presenting its next generation solutions for the future of critical communications which help companies embrace digital transformation and benefit from enhanced operational efficiency.

At its stand, C01, located in Hall 10.2, Airbus will be showcasing its innovations in the area of hybrid infrastructures and terminal solutions.

Besides its Taira virtual core – the key component for hosting all the necessary services for the future hybrid infrastructures that will consist of Tetra-, Tetrapol- and 3GPP-based broadband services – Airbus will showcase its brand new TB4 base station. The TB4 is a truly hybrid base station, hosting both Tetra and 3GPP broadband services on a commercial 4G/5G platform.

Airbus will present the most recent version of Tactilon Agnet, its application and platform that provides mission-critical communication and collaboration servcies across different network and terminal technologies. In addition to its mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) service, tightly integrated with Tetra services, and its operational models, Tactilon Agnet 800 provides multimedia capabilities at the push of a button, hence making possible operational data retrieval, multi-bearer data communications, user status updates, and automatic vehicule or user positioning thanks to the performant application tailored for public safety use.

To complete its hybrid offering, Airbus will also show its Tactilon Dabat hybrid Tetra radio and Android smartphone device in-one along with its integrated Dabat Hybrid Roaming feature. This feature enables a network switch from Tetra to LTE in the event of poor network coverage.

On Thursday 26th November, keynote speakers from Airbus will also actively be participating in the Airbus SLC BOS Forum. Participants will join together between noon and 2 PM in a panel session to discuss the latest trends in mission critical communications and collaboration for public safety.
