Dirk Adomat (SPD), newly elected district administrator for the Hameln-Pyrmont district, has visited Hytera Mobilfunk, a strong company in the region, to learn more about professional mobile radio.

In his welcome speech, Bernhard Klinger, VP Business Development at Hytera Mobilfunk, briefly introduced the company, before inviting his guests to get to know the everyday working life at the site in a joint tour. Among other things, the group stopped off at the system testing and product development departments.

As a high-tech company in rural areas, Hytera Mobilfunk is internationally active; the employees themselves come from around 20 different nations. The company has its own research and development center at the site.

"About one third of our employees work in this area. We want to continue to grow and are committed to attracting more skilled workers to the region. In doing so, we hope for the support of politics", said Bernhard Klinger. "Hytera Mobilfunk offers exciting and diverse fields of work, including a trainee program for engineers, apprenticeship training positions and opportunities for students to write their bachelor or master thesis as working students".

At Hytera Mobilfunk everything revolves around professional mobile radio communications. Alexander Heinz, Head of Product Management at Hytera Mobilfunk, therefore showed the guests the technical heart of a radio network, using a latest-generation TETRA base station developed by the company.

The District Administrator was also very interested in the demonstration of the PTTconnect application developed by Hytera Mobilfunk, which makes it easy, safe and fast to integrate smartphone users into an existing TETRA radio network. After the tour he expressed his enthusiasm:

"Hytera Mobilfunk is a high-tech company in the Hameln-Pyrmont district. Highly qualified and very specialised employees work here. With their communication solutions, they make an important contribution, especially in times of crisis".
