Norsat, a leading global provider in the satellite communication industry, launched three new products at IDEX, including the updated LNB Ka-band TRIPLE BAND PLL9000 SERIES, LNB Ku-band PLL1000HU and 1:1 ATOM and BUC redundant switch system. Norsats solution comprises interference suppression C-Band LNBs and specialized bandpass filters for effective satellite communication. With the rise of 5G, there is a need for specialized products to block or prevent interference from 5G base stations in proximity of C-band ground terminals.

Norsat’s ATOM BUC redundant switch features a slim, streamline outdoor unit mounted on a plate for easy installation. Mounted BUCs allow hot-swapping. The IFL is industry standard with two coax cables for the L-Band signal and one control cable which carries the monitor/control signals. This redundant switch can enable hot failure to switch over on Norsat BUCs and LNBs. It can provide customized requirements and can also switch functions manually.

The 9000 LNB is a Ka-Band Multi band LNB, covering from 17.2 GHz to 22.2 GHz. It is highly customizable on the frequency spectrum with many custom variants. It is an improved version of the existing Norsat Ka-Band LNB.

The new 1000 LNB is a Ku-Band Multi band LNB, covering from 10.7GHz to 12.75GHz. It is highly customizable on the frequency spectrum and can cover many custom variants. It is more compact and lighter than the current Norsat LNBs. It can be configured in full accordance with the requirements of the customer with almost no increase in the price.
