Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, in partnership with Xentia, a Polish wholesale distributor of voice, data and broadband wireless solutions for surveillance systems, further strengthen Warsaw Metropolitan Police (KSP Warsaw) connectivity by expanding KSP Warsaw existing CCTV backhauling network with the use of the WiBAS™ OSDR PtMP wireless solution at 28 GHz. The network will be used also for Police Stations backhauling within the city, connecting all district Police headquarters in Warsaw.

KSP Warsaw, leveraging on Intracom Telecom's WiBAS™ OSDR exceptional capabilities and superior performance, will enhance its CCTV surveillance with HD Cameras throughout the city providing accurate information on crimes, offenses and other events occurring in areas covered by the surveillance system.

More specifically, through this project, the already deployed WiBAS™ network, which has been running since 2015, will be renovated in such a way that there will be minimum CCTV camera's downtime, while the network will also expand with the addition of new cameras. Moreover, the company's advanced and feature-rich network management system, uni|MS™, that has already been implemented, will now be upgraded to the latest version in order to support the whole radio network, offering new features, such as ring configuration and more.

"We are proud for KSP Warsaw's continuing trust to Intracom Telecom for the upgrade of their network. The continuation of our partnership with Warsaw Metropolitan Police is a strong evidence of the quality of Intracom Telecom's technology. Local support and services by Xentia is a key ingredient to our success. Our MW offerings, apart from the telecom market, have been designed to satisfy mission critical applications and sensitive communications", John Tenidis, Marketing Director of Intracom Telecom's wireless solutions portfolio, highlighted.

The project started in September 2020 and is expected to end by March 2021.
