JUMA Communications Named as Supplier on UK Government Tactical Communications Framework
JUMA Communications has been appointed as a supplier on the Government Commercial Agency’s (GCA) RM6393 Tactical Communication Systems framework under Lot 3, which has an estimated value of £727 million.
The framework enables eligible public-sector organisations, including blue-light services such as police, fire and rescue, ambulance, and search and rescue, to source specialised tactical communication and information systems for critical operational environments from approved suppliers.
JUMA joins a number of other suppliers appointed to the framework, which gives the company the opportunity to compete for contracts until 25 September 2029. Individual contracts will be awarded through competitive call-offs during the framework period. Inclusion on the framework does not guarantee any revenue.
Headquartered in Derbyshire, JUMA designs and manufactures its own range of professional radio communications accessories, while also distributing products from leading specialist manufacturers, including OTTO Communications. Supporting mission-critical users, its portfolio includes tactical headsets and push-to-talk units, speaker microphones, covert and overt earpieces, Bluetooth products and specialist interfaces, as well as bespoke solutions developed for specific operational requirements.Commenting on the framework appointment, Andrew McLachlan, Managing Director of JUMA Communications, said:
“Being named as a supplier on the GCA framework is an important milestone for JUMA.
“Our team has decades of experience in supplying and developing professional communications accessories for demanding operational environments. We look forward to the opportunity to work with customers and industry partners through the framework.”
