Airwave has been shortlisted in three categories

Airwave, the leading provider of critical voice and data communications to public service organisations in Great Britain, has been shortlisted in three categories for the inaugural International TETRA Awards 2012.

A collaboration between the TETRA + Critical Communications Association (TCCA) and TETRA Today magazine, the awards recognise excellence in the field of TETRA radio communications.

Entries were received from all over the world, from police forces to the mining industry and energy sector. The judges reported that the competition was fierce and to an exceptionally high standard.

Airwave has been shortlisted in the following three categories:

  • Best use of TETRA for public safety: The Airwave Network & Airwave Insite
  • Best TETRA Innovation:Airwave TETRA Messenger

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony which takes place on 16 March at the Savoy Hotel, London.
