New to the APCO Congress 2012 is the P25 vs TETRA Roundtable discussion

The intent of this event is to display the latest innovations and thinking in public safety communications and create a venue for global counterparts to network and learn.

International public safety peers will soon have the opportunity share knowledge and expertise at the 2nd annual APCO Global Congress in Dubai, United Emirates, 1-3 May 2012. 

The event returns to the Middle East for a second year, bringing together the commercial and practitioner facets of public safety communications. The intent of this event is to display the latest innovations and thinking in public safety communications and create a venue for global counterparts to network and learn.

The 2012 Congress is hosted by the APCO Global Alliance, a coalition of APCO International, APCO Canada, British APCO, and APCO Australasia. The vision of the APCO Global Alliance is to promote and influence excellence in the development and use of public safety communications and information management systems on a global scale and to proactively encourage cooperation amongst the participating organizations to make the world a safer place in which to live.

New to the 2012 Congress is the P25 v TETRA Roundtable discussion on Tuesday, 1 May, a presentation theatre on the exhibition floor and pre-Congress training courses.  The APCO Institute will present two courses prior to the Congress: Stress Management and an overview to the Communications Training Officer course.  Sign up for both of these pre-Congress courses and you can receive a discount on training offered by APCO’s superior instructors.
