The DX-Altus digital radio management system is built on Omnitronics’ IPR technology.

Omnitronix, one of the world leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of mission critical communication systems just launched their DX-Altus digital radio management system The system includes features such as the ability to connect multiple radio protocols such as DMR, P25, Tetra and PMR on the one radio network. The enhanced functionality that some of these protocols provide (text messaging, individual calling and emergency management) is also included.

The modular server architecture of the system is said to remove many of the problems associated with using PC servers and allows soft-degradation, improving system reliability.

The Alto customisable dispatch console includes touch-screen functionality, contact lists and filtering.

Omnitronics will vbe exhibiting @ IWCE in February this year
