LCC International, Inc. (LCC), a global leader in advanced wireless, wire-line voice and data turn-key services, announced today that it is the main supplier of telecom infrastructure for Germany's Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) network.

The deployment is one of several significant wins over the past two years for upgrades to emergency response systems (ERS), networks that enable secure two-way communications between police, fire, ambulance, customs, and coast guard services. LCC has successfully implemented the ERS infrastructure for approximately 500 police network base stations across Germany on a turnkey basis.

"We are proud to have been selected by the German government for this significant undertaking," said Stan Schreuder, LCC's Senior Vice President EMEA. "Especially considering that our expertise in wireless communications is being used to ensure the safety and security of millions of people."

LCC offers operators, infrastructure vendors and other key players in the telecommunications market a full spectrum of services from superior consulting, network planning, design and optimization services to performance and network management services.
