Jyrki Koski CEO Creowave: "This is not the first time Creowave has delivered repeaters to theVIRVE network..."

State Security Networks Ltd. is a limited non-profit company which is owned by the Finnish Government. The company operates nationwide, with its headquarters located in Helsinki. State Security Networks operates the world’s first nationwide TETRA network - the VIRVE network - which is commonly used by Finnish authorities. VIRVE services enable reliable and secure authority communications, and furnish communication networks with new possibilities.

In September 2011, State Security Networks opened a tender for 50 TETRA Indoor Repeaters and their control- and surveillance systems. Creowave quoted the band-selective Indoor Repeater as well their surveillance software and eventually got information of winning the tender in October.

“We are naturally very pleased with this. This is not the first time Creowave has delivered repeaters to VIRVE network. Finnish VIRVE network is the oldest nationwide TETRA network in the world and continuing to choose our solutions shows, that our quality, product performance and delivery accuracy are meeting the high expectations of our customers”, comments Jyrki Koski, CEO of Creowave.

“As of today, Creowave has already delivered the first 10 repeaters and will deliver the last 40 pieces within couple of weeks. Meeting and keeping up with the agreed delivery times is of high importance to the company. We have been very successful in TETRA repeater business and the scaling of production capacity has been one of the major challenges. From customer order to the shipment of these 50 units took less than 6 weeks. This proves that we have succeeded in improving our performance as a company“, continues Jyrki.
