3-T Communications to sell two new TETRA networks in Germany

InfraServ GENDORF and Windpark NSO to benefit from the latest TETRA technology

Recently Frequentis recently sold two new TETRA networks in Germany.

1. InfraServ GENDORF
Industrial Park "Werk GENDORF", in the "Bavarian Chemical Triangle" is hosting companies for chemicals, plastics, power utilities and services. InfraServ is the operator of the Industrial Park. More than 20 companies with about 4.000 employees are working in the two square kilometer large area. InfraServ GENDORF signed a contract for eXTRAS with Abel&Käufl in Germany in September 2011. The eXTRAS system shall provide a powerful radio backbone for the production site in Gendorf/Germany. The Industrial Park is using the eXTRAS TETRA system for process control, maintenance and logistics.

2. Windpark NSO
RWE Innogy GmbH in Hamburg/Germany, is installing and operating wind turbines producing 295 MW in the offshore wind farm in the North Sea near Helgoland. To provide powerful radio communication RWE Innogy GmbH signed a contract with 3T Communications AG for a TETRA System. 3T Communications AG will supply eXTRAS for the platform, the harbour Bremerhaven and for the centre in Helgoland. Local installation is done by EWE Tel.
