Topcon Positioning Systems, an industry leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of precision measurement and workflow solutions for the global construction, geospatial and agriculture markets, has today announced the acquisition of Satel Oy. Under the new ownership, Satel will continue to operate and serve its customers independently, preserving the intimacy of its customer relationships.

To ensure the continuity of the business Satel’s chairman, Dr. J.T. Bergqvist, will remain in his position. The company CEO, Mr. Markus Kantola, will continue to run the company together with his current leadership team.
