OTTO earned ISO 14001: 2004 Environmental Standard Certification from National Quality Assurance (NQA), an internationally accredited firm for management systems standards. This certification recognizes OTTO's commitment to policies and business practices that comply with internationally accepted environmental objectives.

The company is committed to managing the ecological impact of its business through concrete measures and regular audits, a statement said. OTTO is also ISO 9001: 2008 registered and has been in business since 1961.

"OTTO is concerned about the environment, and ISO 14001: 2004 certification is essential to the development and improvement of successful environmental management systems,” said David Ross, vice president of sales and marketing. "At OTTO, we are eager to participate in continuous process improvements that have a positive influence on the environment."
