PCTEL Joins Project 25 Technology Interest Group
PCTEL, Inc. (Nasdaq: PCTI), a leader in Performance Critical TELecom solutions, announced that it joined the Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG).
PTIG membership will enable PCTEL to participate in the development of Project 25 (P25) digital radio communications standards, which are designed for use by public safety organizations. PCTEL will collaborate with other PTIG members while continuing to develop innovative testing solutions and high performance antennas for P25 and other public safety communications technologies.

PCTEL’s antennas and test and measurement tools support indoor and outdoor critical communications systems worldwide, including P25, TETRA, and LTE-based systems such as FirstNet. PCTEL’s public safety testing solution simplifies the process of evaluating in-building critical communications coverage against National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) guidelines and other standards. PCTEL has provided hundreds of thousands of performance critical LMR, LTE, GNSS, Wi-Fi, and compact multi-band antennas for fixed and mobile public safety communications.
