Last week, SmartPTT successfully demonstrated a new telemetry data transmission solution for DMR during two premier events for communications technology professionals – The Motorola Solutions Channel Partner Expo and IWCE 2018.

During both events, the company presented SmartPTT PLUS 9.2 dispatch solution and the future release 9.3 with GPS-batching, redesigned maps and telemetry data transmission with SCADA subsystem in SmartPTT interface. SmartPTT Indoor tracking feature was of great interest among the visitos of the SmartPTT booth.

The solution allows dispatchers to monitor the position of employees indoors, easily switch between floors for multi-level buildings and to set the guard patrol routes and geo-fencing zones inside buildings and premises to ensure employee’s safety and accountability.

The interactive demo-zone with SmartPTT's new device, AdapTel, attracted much attention at both CPE and IWCE. AdapTel is an interface adapter for receiving and transmitting telemetry data from distributed industrial objects to the dispatch level of customer’s SCADA systems in DMR networks. SmartPTT software coupled with AdapTel receiving and transmitting telemetry data ensures efficient business processes management with remote equipment monitoring and corresponding staff coordination.

The new RG-1000e capability to support non-MOTOTRBO radios received a lot of positive feedback too, as it makes the connection between various mobile radios by Motorola Solutions (Tetra MTM, ASTRO APX and ASTRO XTL, VX-2***, CM, GM/CDM) very easy.
