Cobham announced recently that automated test and alignment capabilities for Harris XG-75M mobile radios have been added to both the Cobham AvComm 3920B and 8800SX Radio Test Sets.

“Since the 8800SX and the 3920B provide fully automated tests to the OEM specifications, Harris dealers and end users will now be able to perform fast, repeatable and very accurate test functions with minimal technical interaction,” said Lyndon Zielke, Sr Product Marketing Engineer. “This new capability further shows our commitment to Harris and the Public Safety community to provide innovative test solutions for these next generation radios.”

Option 111 for the 8800SX provides test and alignment of the Harris P25 XG-75 Series portables, and now mobiles, along with the P7300 and P5500 Radio Series. Option 616 for the 3920B provides the same test and alignment capabilities.

Cobham continues its commitment to providing the industry with the most expansive Auto-Test and Alignment libraries available in the market today. By working directly with the OEM’s and having a dedicated team of software engineers, Cobham is able to react quickly to changes in the market place by adding new models as they are released as well as making updates to existing applications as OEM’s make changes to their software.
